African Liberation Day 2021

We'll commemorate African Liberation Day with a showing of Cuban film "Roots of My Heart", an independently produced short feature film, that deals with the 1912 massacre of thousands of members of the Independents of Color, the hemisphere's first black political party outside Haiti. There will also be brief presenations by the African People's Socialist Party-Bahamas and other community leaders and time for discussion.
