New Title from Sean "Black Male" Gardiner

.
Local author Sean "Black Male" Gardiner stopped by Black Food Bookstore and Culture Shop this week to drop off copies of this latest book, "1619 Affirmation: The Journey".
.

This book is dedicated to Africa and its Diaspora which includes all people of color. 2019 was dubbed the year of retun in commemoration of the 400-year anniversary of the transatlantic slave trade and a lot of African Americans and other people of the Diaspora have taken it upon themselves to reurn to their roots in Africa.

.

In recognition of this event we salute the nation of Africa and its Diaspora for surviving the holocaust of the 15th--19th centuries. My People continue to remain strong in the time of adversity. For we are troubled on every side yet not in distress, perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not forsaken, cast down but not detroyed.
