Huey P. Newton, co-founder and Minister of Defense of the Black Panther Party was assassinated in Oakland, California on August 22, 1989.

One of the most significant leaders of the Black Revolution of the Sixties, in the years prior to his death, Newton had become associated with the African People's Socialist Party and the Uhuru Movement in Oakland.

This pamphlet contains the last two public presentations by Huey P. Newton at the Oakland Uhuru House, along with presentations by Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African People's Socialist Party.
